BREAKING NEWS-

Terrorism

is, in the broadest sense, the use of intentionally indiscriminate violence as a means to create terror, fear or even causing death as a means to achieve a financial, political, religious or ideological aim. It is used in this regard primarily to refer to violence against peacetime targets or in war against non-combatants, you and I

The question in your mind should not be, whether something like this could ever reach you but rather, how you will react to it when it does reach you or whom and what you hold dear and near.

Most will not respond to this brief report even remotely, as bad stuff only ever happens to stupid people or some other derogatory word to describe a victim of senseless violence.

This is called the"Noah syndrome" man's eternal undoing when, in the face of clear and present danger, they will turn a blind eye.

One such image comes to mind, where hundreds of real life scenarios as well as the dozens of horror movies where the hapless jogger sets off on a morning/evening run, the Ear Candy phones firmly in place and the powerful beat music on the I pod, causing the tympani muscles to pull tightly on her eardrumscausing the pressure inside to increase and block out any external sounds and in the process, contributes immensely in raising the incidence of muggings, rapes and murders the world over, hence the Noah Syndrome.

I'm saying, people rarely heed advice but occasionally, a few do listen and because of this, I am sharing this advice you. If you have read this far, the chances are, that you are looking beyond my cynicism and are realizing that I actually have a point to make.

My credentials are not what is selling this product, but for what it's worth, I am an ex- military person with 6 years of combat experience, and no, I'm not American I'm a South African where 52 people are murdered daily, (Don't take my word for it, Google it) I'm living in this war zone.
